Borderline - for feedback, objects and electronics (2025)
duration 20′
Borderline for feedback, objects, and electronics is a site-specific composition created for the underground car park, K2, at Harpa Concert Hall. The piece explores the space’s resonant of frequency, incorporating feedback, found objects, metal scraps, a snare drum, and electronic manipulation activated by drops of melting ice. All electronic pitches are sourced from the parking lot’s natural resonant frequencies to enhance the space's echo. Through these elements, the work reshapes the familiar parking garage into an unfamiliar, immersive sonic landscape, blurring the boundaries between the known and the unknown, the piece heightens awareness of everyday aesthetics and the present moment.
